The armed group targeted the Sultan Police Station in the Dinar area of Pishin district

Security forces have escalated following a coordinated assault in Balochistan, where dozens of heavily armed men stormed and seized control of a police station and a security checkpoint in neighboring districts.

The armed group targeted the Sultan Police Station in the Dinar area of Pishin district—situated near the northwestern mountainous terrain of Quetta. Simultaneously, just a few kilometers away, the attackers overran the Gelo Checkpost located in the Dolangi area of Gulistan tehsil, within the Qilla Abdullah district. According to initial reports, the assailants disarmed the personnel on duty, seizing official police weapons and operational vehicles before taking full control of both security posts.
